Researches and reports on relevant industry, market and macro-economic trends Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed Analyze reports and conduct analysis to determine progress on Business Operating Plan achievement Leverage best practices, remove obstacles, and activate counter measures if necessary People Partners with Recruiting: To identify the knowledge, skills and abilities within the Sales Consultant success profile Work strategically with the Recruitment Team to evaluate and select “A” talent To execute a recruiting campaign that attracts the most qualified candidates Achieve a minimum qualified talent funnel of 10 Solar Academy candidates per month Graduate a minimum of 3 “A” level potential players from each Solar Academy Partners with Training: To create, refine and continually update education materials and content that optimizes adult learning principles To create systems and practices that continually monitor, evaluate and certify key competencies To deliver new hire and on-the-job training within a blended learning environment Adapt and refine Solar Academy to the respective market within 30 days Recruits, tests, and hires team based on criteria agreed upon by senior management Leads a Team of Sales Consultants: Sets examples for team members in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits Conducts regular coaching and counseling with team members to build motivation and selling skills Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up Responsible for the performance and development of the team Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team Insures that all team members meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets Conducts one-on-one review with all staff to build more effective communications, understand training and development needs, and provide insight for the improvement of the team's sales and activity performance Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance Operations Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by team Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses Assists team in preparation of proposals and presentations Customer Service Sets, expects, inspects and manages to the highest standards of customer satisfaction – both internally and externally Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction Takes personal ownership to resolve customer service issues with the highest degree of integrity, discretion and urgency Required Skills Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals Required Experience 5-7 years of experience in sales management Extensive experience in all aspects of partner management BenefitsWe offer competitive pay with a flexible and affordable benefits program designed to help you be and stay well, including: medical, dental & vision coverage, vacation & sick leave, flexible spending accounts, and a 401(k) plan.
